Continuing Education Working Committee is a special professional working institution directly under the GHO Council. It serves as a dedicated platform coordinating continuing education and professional competency improvement in the fields of global health, public health and clinical medicine. It is mainly responsible for standardizing the industry continuing education system, integrating academic and educational resources, and building a lifelong learning system for practitioners. Undertaking the core functions of GHO talent cultivation, academic empowerment and industry standardization construction, it acts as the executive body for GHO’s continuing education project operation, standard formulation, industry services and international academic empowerment. Its main responsibilities are as follows:

1. System Construction

Formulate the working specifications, management measures, curriculum standards and credit systems for GHO continuing education, and establish a standardized and systematic continuing education and training system.

2. Project Management

Overall plan, apply for, approve and implement various continuing education and training programs, academic trainings and special empowerment courses, and conduct full-process review, supervision and implementation of all projects.

3. Curriculum and Teacher Team Construction

Develop continuing education courses tailored to global health and medical and health fields, build an expert teacher database, and standardize teaching, review and teaching management procedures.

4. Credit and Student Management

Take charge of the recognition, registration, review and public announcement of continuing education credits as well as certificate management, and establish learning archives and competency evaluation systems for practitioners.

5. Academic and Industry Empowerment

Carry out academic exchanges, technology promotion and achievement transformation relying on the continuing education platform, helping medical and health practitioners update professional knowledge and improve their professional capabilities and practice levels.

6. Resource Cooperation and Exchange

Connect with domestic and foreign educational, academic and medical institution resources, carry out continuing education cooperation, joint school running, further study exchanges and other projects to expand learning channels for industry practitioners.

7. Supervision and Self-inspection

Conduct supervision, quality evaluation and compliance self-inspection on all cooperating institutions, teaching sites and training projects, standardize training operations and ensure training quality.

8. Daily Operation and Summary

Manage the daily operation of the committee, including document filing, data statistics, annual summary and annual work plan formulation, and complete other relevant tasks assigned by the GHO Council.
